Rainbow Families of NJ (RFNJ) was an all-volunteer, organization dedicated to serving the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual (LGBT) parents, their children, and those interested in becoming parents, that operated for over a decade. In the fall of 2012, the official organization shut down and is no longer active.

The organization is now more of a grass roots organization where families can plan activities themselves for other LGBT families to join them, e.g., everyone meet at a park, beach, amusement park, zoo, etc.

Former members and anyone currently interested can be in touch with other members and set up activities via our Facebook Group page.
